While they're absolutely not going to be in SAG anytime soon, wrestling does require a lot of acting. With that being the case, it makes sense that so many former champions eventually wind up on the big screen. Obviously, The Rock, John Cena, and Dave Bautista all fit that billing and are the most successful wrestler-turned-actors. Obviously all three had the look of a movie star, but they proved to have the talent to back it up, thus making them extremely marketable.

That being said, those three names are far from the only wrestlers to do some acting work. While a lot of high-profile names, such as Steve Austin have done action movies, these ten wrestlers instead decided to make the fans laugh in their time on screen.

10 Sheamus: Buddy Games

2019's Buddy Games was yet another panned WWE Studios film. This one had a surprisingly good cast, featuring Josh Duhamel, Dax Shepard, Olivia Munn, Jensen Ackles, and more. As is the case with many WWE studio films, there is a cameo appearance.

That role is filled by Sheamus in the film, who actually has a meaningful part in the film. To his credit, he's actually really good here, in by far his biggest role to date.

9 The Undertaker: Surf's Up 2

The Undertaker Surf's Up 2

2007's Surf's Up was a beloved animated movie starring Shia LeBeouf, Jeff Bridges, and more. Seemingly out of nowhere nearly a decade later, a straight-to-DVD sequel was announced with only Jon Heder returning from the original cast.

The film was titled Surf's Up 2: WaveMania, featuring tons of WWE branding. While a lot of wrestlers you would expect to make appearances, The Undertaker is likely the funniest considering that he rarely acts, but chooses to voice act here.

8 Chris Jericho: Impractical Jokers

You've got to love long-term booking. Earlier this year, Impractical Jokers showed up on AEW television to promote a new season of their show. Quickly, the segment was interrupted by Chris Jericho and company, sending the comedy troupe through a table.

While most fans didn't know, Jericho appeared previously on the comedy show. He helped push comedian Brian 'Q' Quinn through a series of challenges. Then, months later, they put him through a table.

7 King Kong Bundy: Married... With Children

King Kong Bundy on Married With Children

One of the longest-running sitcoms in television history, Married With Children ran from 1987 to 1997. Starring Ed O'Neill and Katey Sagal, the show had a lot of cameos over the years, with everyone from Pamela Anderson and Jerry Springer.

However, a forgotten cameo also came from the late great King Kong Bundy. Ironically enough, the family on the show was called the Bundys, making this a natural tie in with the show. Luckily, Bundy was a natural in the role. In fact, he was so good on his first appearance in 1987 that he was brought back for a second cameo in 1995.

6 Chyna: 3rd Rock From The Sun

Chyna as a celebrity

The ninth wonder of the world had a lot of acting jobs back in her day. Chyna famously starred on several reality television shows, including Fear Factor and The Surreal Life. However, arguably her best role came on 3rd Rock From The Sun.

Chyna appeared several times in the show, playing the role of a cop in three episodes in the show's fifth season. While she had many acting roles, her time in this comedy was very entertaining and stands above the rest.

5 Kevin Nash: Grandma's Boy

Obviously, the aforementioned Rock, Cena, and Batista are the most famous wrestler-to-actor transitions. However, Kevin Nash isn't far behind them. Over the years, the former WWE champion has been in everything from TMNT to John Wick.

He's been in several high-profile films, including 2006's Grandma's Boy. The stoner comedy included an ensemble cast, including Nash who played a small role in the film as a mover.

4 Macho Man Randy Savage: Dexter's Laboratory

It only makes sense that the Macho Man had done some acting in his life. Randy Savage was such a colorful personality that such a move made sense after he retired. Although, he didn't do as much acting as he did voice-acting.

One of Randy Savage's best appearances came in 1996 on the children's comedy show Dexter's Laboratory. In the show, he played a character called 'Rasslor', and was essentially just playing an over-the-top version of a wrestler.

3 Stacy Keibler: How I Met Your Mother

Since retiring from wrestling, Stacy Keibler remained in the spotlight for quite a while, before turning her attention to motherhood. While she was never in any blockbuster movies like Fast in the Furious or anything, she did carve out a solid career for herself on screen.

Arguably her most famous role came as Karina in the incredibly successful comedy How I Met Your Mother. Keibler appeared in a couple of episodes working as a bartender at the bar McLaren's, where the show takes place.

2 Diamond Dallas Page: Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror

Diamond Dallas Page has acted in several films over the years, with his most famous role being in The Devil's Rejects. However, just one year after starring in the horror classic, he had a cameo in a horror comedy created by Snoop Dogg.

Page is only in the film very briefly, getting killed almost immediately. Regardless, this film is an absolute fever dream, and his small role only makes it feel even weirder.

1 Roman Reigns: The Wrong Missy

Roman Reigns The Wrong Missy

Roman Reigns doesn't quite have the resume of The Rock yet, but he is somewhat following in his footsteps. Over the last few years, he's had a few brief acting roles, including in the Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw.

However, Reigns also starred in 2020's The Wrong Missy starring David Spade. This film was released on Netflix early on in the COVID-19 pandemic, which is likely why many missed this brief cameo.
