10 Wrestlers Who Hate CM Punk (& Why)

CM Punk might be one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, but he certainly made his fair share of enemies over the course of his career. He has never been someone to shy away from sharing his opinion, and that has made several people in the industry dislike him throughout history.

When you're one of the very best, people are always going to question things and that was often the case with Punk. So while he might be beloved by the WWE Universe, the same cannot always be said for those behind the scenes with him. So, who doesn't get along with Punk, and why?

10 Ryback

Ryback and CM Punk are a pair of wrestlers who just do not get along at all. When CM Punk left WWE, he made his feelings about Ryback perfectly clear, calling out the Big Guy for being reckless inside the ring.

Ryback took serious offense to those comments and has since then made his feelings about Punk crystal clear. He's spoken about how he didn't enjoy working with Punk and it's fair to say they're just two men who don't click.

9 Beth Phoenix

While Beth Phoenix is now happily married to the Rated R Superstar, Edge, she did previously date CM Punk. However, it appears things didn't end too well between them, and there was tension surrounding the situation.

Phoenix went on to unfollow Punk on social media at that point, with the two of them not parting ways as friends. Thankfully, they both now appear to have found happiness in their lives romantically.

8 Jeff Hardy

CM Punk and Jeff Hardy might have had some incredible matches together, but that doesn't mean they saw eye-to-eye. Quite often in wrestling history, people who don't get along in real life put together some tremendous matches, and thankfully, Hardy and Punk did just that.

The reason they don't like each other is simply that their lives are the complete opposite of each other. Punk lives the straight edge lifestyle that Hardy was the perfect parallel of, which is part of why they didn't get along.

7 Elijah Burke

Elijah Burke and CM Punk's issues date back to their time in ECW when the two men had several matches against each other. CM Punk went on to claim that Burke was his least favorite person to ever work with.

However, Burke would then respond to those comments, calling out Punk for never saying anything to his face when they were together, with the two men clearly not having a connection.

6 Teddy Hart

Teddy Hart is quite well-known for having had issues with several people throughout his wrestling career, and one of those was CM Punk. Their problems took place during CM Punk's TNA career and actually culminated in a real fight.

The issues took place backstage with the two men just constantly annoying the other, which boiled down to a fight between them that had to be split by others.

5 Hornswoggle

Hornswoggle is one of many former WWE friends that CM Punk opted to just cut out of his life when he left the company. 'Swoggle had previously spoken about how he asked Punk for a phone number of a mutual friend, which he never got.

The two men then didn't talk after, which Hornswoggle took offense to, with the former WWE Superstar falling out with Punk since that point.

4 AJ Styles

CM Punk and AJ Styles are two of the very best wrestlers of all time and are absolutely beloved by wrestling fans. However, they do not get along with each other, which is something that was made clear recently.

Punk took a shot at AJ on social media, but Styles quickly responded, making it clear that he has no respect for CM Punk. So, any chance of a dream match between them seems to be buried.

3 Triple H

The dislike between Triple H and CM Punk is one that is very well documented, so much so that it was even brought up on WWE television. They simply do not get along or like each other at all.

That has always been the case, with Punk claiming that Triple H never liked him when he first burst onto the scene in WWE. The Game found Punk to be arrogant, while Punk felt that he wasn't given the right opportunities, which led to big issues between them.

2 Stephanie McMahon

Much like her husband, Stephanie McMahon also dislikes CM Punk. The two of them never saw eye to eye and the fact that Punk would constantly trash talk her family is a big reason for that.

Unfortunately, that was very much the case and while Punk did great business for the McMahon family, he didn't manage to work well with them on a personal level.

At one point in time, CM Punk and Colt Cabana were best friends, with Punk making sure his first post-WWE interview was with Cabana. However, the aftermath of that podcast with the lawsuit from WWE brought a swift end to their long friendship.

After they had battled with WWE, Cabana went on to try and sue Punk after he claimed Punk failed to keep a promise to cover his legal fees in the original trial. Sadly, their fallout ended up becoming very public and this former friendship exploded in a major way.
