Cagematch.net is a very useful website for wrestling fans, as you can rate matches, events and even wrestlers. However, some fans are not completely objective when it comes to rating superstars, and let their emotions affect their opinions.

In that sense, some fans rate wrestlers they like very high, and rate wrestlers they hate very low, without taking too much into account what really matters, in-ring skills, mic skills, character work, career... Then there are some ratings that don't make sense and just don't fit certain wrestlers. Without further ado, below are 10 wrestlers that are overrated on Cagematch.net.

10 Asuka (Rating: 9.43)

Asuka as WWE Raw Womens Champion

Asuka is an exceptional wrestler, no doubt about it, but a 9.43 rating is too high for her. Asuka's in-ring skills are top-notch, and that's precisely why she has delivered several excellent matches throughout her career, though nothing on a legendary level as many think.

On the other hand, at least in WWE, Asuka's promos are non-existent, and we all know how important promos are in the wrestling universe. In short, Asuka is fantastic, but she is definitely overrated on Cagematch.net.

9 Keith Lee (Rating: 8.91)

Keith Lee is much more than a big man, as he is very athletic and agile for his size. He moves well in the ring and can perform impressive maneuvers. He obviously has extraordinary strength and an intimidating appearance and, in general, he is a very good worker.

However, Keith Lee is inconsistent, and it seems that his weight is starting to take its toll on him, as if we look at the Keith Lee of a couple of years ago and compare him to his current version, we realize that his skills have deteriorated considerably.

8 Timothy Thatcher (8.73)

Timothy Thatcher hasn't made it to the major leagues for a reason, he's not good enough. Certainly, he is a terrific worker, with a very peculiar intense technical style, but in terms of storytelling and selling Thatcher doesn't stand out. Also, he has zero charisma and can't connect with the fans as either a babyface or a heel.

So, that 8.73 rating would be perfect if we talk only about wrestling skills, but overall, Timothy Thatcher should be closer to a seven.

7 Andrade El Idolo (Rating: 8.82)

Andrade El Idolo is definitely an above-average wrestler, with an arsenal of varied moves based on a mix of lucha libre, technical work and high-flying moves. However, Andrade is not a wrestler who delivers memorable matches, as aside from his matches against Johnny Gargano, Rey Mysterio and PAC, there is not too much standout content in his career.

Moreover, Andrade El Idolo's mic skills are lacking, and his character work has never been much of a big deal either.

6 Brian Cage (Rating: 7.92)

Nobody can deny that Brian Cage has the look of a world champion, in fact, few wrestlers in the world look better than him. Brian Cage is extremely powerful, with impressive explosiveness and intensity.

However, Brian Cage needs an opponent to carry him in matches, just like Will Ospreay did at Warrior Wrestling 18. Likewise, Brian Cage's biggest weakness is undoubtedly his lackluster persona, which frankly doesn't generate any feelings in the fans.

5 Colt Cabana (Rating: 8.16)

Colt Cabana

Colt Cabana has been in the wrestling industry for over 20 years, which is admirable. His career has been very good, but nothing formidable. Cabana is a competent worker, but not even at his prime he could stand out.

His best matches were in the 2000s, with wrestlers like CM Punk and Bryan Danielson involved. In short, Colt Cabana could never shine on his own and he never made a real mark. The Miz, for example, has a 7.41 rating on Cagematch.net, and, is Colt Cabana better than The Miz? No way.

4 Erik (Rating: 7.64)

Erik & Ivar

The Viking Raiders are a pretty decent team, but definitely nothing extraordinary. Erik and Ivar are good together, but if we rate them individually then Erik shouldn't be anywhere near 7.64. Erik is frankly an undistinguished wrestler, with basic in-ring skills and not to mention below-average mic skills.

Erik has had a long career, with some good moments, but most of the time he goes unnoticed, and his programs are not very interesting, to say the least.

3 Natalya (Rating: 8.05)

natalya wwe

The only logic reason why Natalya has an 8.05 rating is because of her career and his commitment to WWE, and perhaps her lineage. Other than that, there’s nothing truly amazing about Natalya.

You can argue she is good in the ring, but does she have any memorable match other than her encounter with Charlotte Flair at NXT Takeover in 2014? Probably not. Truth be told, Natalya has a boring persona, and she has never been able to stand out in the company.

2 Akira Tozawa (Rating: 8.39)

Akira Tozawa WWE

About 10 years ago, Akira Tozawa was an amazing wrestler, capable of delivering great matches on a regular basis, but his peak didn't last long, and he went from being an excellent worker to a mediocre worker in a relatively short time.

People may give him a high rating based mostly on his good years, but if we take into account his entire career, and if we consider his character work and mic skills, then Akira Tozawa is overrated on Cagematch.net, no doubt about it.

1 Toni Storm (Rating: 8.44)

toni storm aew dynamite

Toni Storm recently made her AEW debut, and the fans were very happy about it. Toni Storm is a very talented young wrestler and is a great addition to the AEW women's division, but she is nowhere near being among the best female wrestlers in the world as some believe.

In terms of character development and mic skills, Toni hasn't been much more than average.

The best thing about her, of course, is her in-ring skills, and still, she hasn't shown anything special. Storm needs an amazing opponent to shine, as the only outstanding matches of her career were against Meiko Satomura and Io Shirai.
