The Nature Boy, Ric Flair, is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time who has achieved everything there is to do in the sport. He's been able to work against countless top names throughout the industry, headlining PPVs and competing for various titles. While he's competed across several different promotions from NWA and WCW to WWE and even a stint in TNA. Because of that, he has competed against a wide range of talent, from older legends to younger stars who are still competing today.

However, even though Flair has wrestled against countless people, there are some names that he has never ended up competing against and in this list, we will reveal ten wrestlers that the Nature Boy hasn't wrestled.
10 Jushin 'Thunder' Liger
One legend that Ric Flair has never been able to step into the ring with is Jushin 'Thunder' Liger. He is one of the all-time greats and someone who is considered in extremely high regard by people in the industry, so it's a huge shame they never competed.

Both men spent time working in WCW and could easily have put on a really entertaining match, especially since Flair was able to really work at a high-quality level during this point in his career.
9 Drew McIntyre
The current WWE Champion is a modern-day name that Ric Flair never got the chance to wrestle against during his career. The window of opportunity was only slim, Drew was on the roster for several years before the Nature Boy decided to retire.
Drew would have been a good opponent for Ric Flair when he first debuted as he was a young cocky heel who could have benefitted from wrestling a legend like Flair. Putting them together for a mid-card feud would have been sensible, but sadly it never happened.
8 Cody Rhodes
Another current top tier name that Ric Flair never got the chance to wrestle against is Cody Rhodes. He is someone who had started his career while Flair was around, and much like McIntyre could really have benefitted from working with him.

Considerin the deep history that Flair has with the Rhodes family, it could have been easy to write a storyline for this to happen as well. Sadly, it didn't end up becoming a reality though, and Cody remains the only Rhodes family member he never wrestled.
7 Samoa Joe
There are many big names working in WWE such as AJ Styles who might not have been in the company during Ric Flair's main run but have still wrestled him. Because the Nature Boy worked in TNA, he got the chance to wrestle a lot of brilliant wrestlers, but Samoa Joe wasn't one of them.
The Nature Boy faced plenty of people and Samoa Joe would have been a great opponent to see him face. However, it just never ended up happening with this being one match that didn't happen.
6 CM Punk
One amazing wrestler who was part of the WWE roster throughout many years of Ric Flair's career was CM Punk. The two men worked together in a tag team match once, but they never actually competed against each other in a match.

Considering the fact that CM Punk went on to become one of the biggest names in the history of the industry it's a real shame that they didn't compete. A match between them could have been really interesting with Punk's striking abilities, but it just never happened.
5 Tommy Dreamer
Tommy Dreamer might not have been the flashiest in-ring performer, but he was the heart and soul of ECW. Considering the fact that Ric Flair competed against legends and faces of so many brands, it's surprising that Dreamer didn't end up on that list.
Dreamer and Flair would no doubt have had an interesting match, purely because of how great they were at telling stories within a match. Plus, considering how much of a big wrestling fan Striker is deep down, it would no doubt have been a cool moment for him as a person.
4 The Miz
The Miz is going to go down as one of the all-time greats in his career, and much like Ric Flair, a big part of that is down to his promo work. The Nature Boy is a big fan of Miz and ended up mentoring him for a small run, giving him the Figure Four Leglock.
However, it would have made that whole storyline even more fun if they had competed in a match previously. The Miz was around during the time of Flair's final run, but sadly was mainly in the tag team division so a match never actually happened.
3 The Ultimate Warrior
Ric Flair and The Ultimate Warrior have technically met in the ring before, but their few matches only ever happened at house shows. Because of that, they never competed in front of millions of people which should have really happened.
WWE missed a huge opportunity by never booking this match as it would have been such a major draw. Fans would have flocked to see this one take place due to how popular both men were, but sadly it never happened.
2 Bruno Sammartino
When people talk about the all-time greats of the wrestling industry, Bruno Sammartino and Ric Flair are two names that often come up first. Many fans wrongly presume that they have competed at some point in their careers, but unfortunately that never happened.
The two men did have some interactions, with Bruno working as a special guest referee for a few of Flair's matches. However, the two men never actually competed one on one, and instead enjoyed their respective careers apart from each other.
1 John Cena
Ric Flair and John Cena are two of the biggest names in the history of the industry, yet they have somehow never wrestled each other. While it might have been a respect idea for WWE to not have Cena beat the Nature Boy, it would certainly have been good to see them wrestle at one point.
While they've shared the ring a few times in tag matches, they have always ended up being on the same team. Having had Flair and Cena wrestle against each other would have been a cool moment for fans to see.
