Naomi is a veteran in WWE's women's division. She first debuted on the main roster in January 2012 alongside Cameron as tag-team The Funkadactyls. Naomi had several near brushes with the Divas Title before eventually winning the SmackDown Women's Championship for the first time in 2017.

Naomi has often been overlooked despite being a capable wrestler and one of the few female Superstars to incorporate a high-flying arsenal. Her repertoire isn't as decorated as Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch, but Naomi remains one of the women's division's unsung heroines. Here are ten times Naomi was the most underrated female Superstar in WWE.
10 Getting The Win For Her Team At Survivor Series 2014
Naomi spent the majority of 2014 in the background as Paige and the Bella Twins dominated the women's division. Despite this, she had a brief moment to shine at Survivor Series 2014 after she pinned Paige for a clean-sweep victory for her team.
Naomi's high-flying style makes her one of the most entertaining wrestlers in the women's division, and she stood out when allowed to showcase her skills. Pinning Paige was a big moment for her as the former Divas Champion was one of the company's most popular female Superstars.
9 Her 2015 Heel Turn
Naomi was a babyface until her much needed heel turn in 2015. After Paige emerged victorious from a battle royale to determine the next contender for Nikki Bella's Divas Championship, Naomi snapped and become a bad guy after attacking the Anti-Diva and forcing her into a brief hiatus.
Naomi challenged Nikki Bella for the butterfly belt at Extreme Rules, though failed to capture the championship. Although she didn't win the title, Naomi's heel turn revitalized her character and gave her another fleeting moment in the spotlight.
8 Team BAD
Sasha Banks was arguably the main focus of Team BAD. The Boss debuted on the main roster as the reigning NXT Women's Champion and aligned with Naomi and Tamina to form the heel trio. Banks was often the focal point of the overlooked team, but Naomi still stood out as one of the trio's best performers.
Banks and Naomi worked well together in the ring and their offensive arsenal complemented one another, whilst Tamina completed the trio as the silent bodyguard. If they had been booked better, Team BAD could have one of the best factions in the women's division.
7 Her First Championship Win
Naomi debuted on the main roster in 2012 but didn't win her first title until five years later. When she defeated Alexa Bliss for the SmackDown Women's Championship it was a well-deserved moment that was met with a positive reaction from fans, who chanted "you deserve it" to the new champion on SmackDown.

Unfortunately, Naomi had to relinquish the title due to an injury. She made a triumphant return later and defeated Alexa Bliss to recapture the championship.
6 Her Hometown WrestleMania Victory
Naomi's second championship win was even more celebratory than her first. The former Funkadactyl defeated Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Becky Lynch, Carmella, and Natalya in a six-pack challenge in her hometown of Orlando at WrestleMania 33 to win her second SmackDown Women's Championship.
This was a well-deserved and historical highlight in Naomi's career. She achieved the coveted hometown win as well as recapturing her title on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
5 Her Royal Rumble Performances
Naomi has competed in three Royal Rumble matches, and each time she has demonstrated a Kofi Kingston-like evasion of elimination that has awed fans. Collectively, she has spent over thirty minutes in the match and has saved herself from elimination by utilizing her high-flying and athletic arsenal.
During the 2018 women's Royal Rumble match, Naomi avoided being eliminated by walking along the barrier and wheeling herself to the steps on a chair. Her victory was short-lived as she was promptly thrown out of the ring by Nia Jax.
4 Winning The First WrestleMania Women's Battle Royale
During the kick-off show for WrestleMania 34, WWE hosted the first annual WrestleMania Women's Battle Royale. Naomi won the inaugural bout after eliminating Bayley, standing tall with the trophy at the end of the match.
Admittedly, the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royale is a female counterpart to the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale with a victory that doesn't lead anywhere. Despite this, it is still a much-deserved accolade for Naomi and another achievement to add to her repertoire.
3 Her NXT Matches With AJ Lee
Naomi and AJ Lee both competed in NXT's all-female third season before developmental was rebranded. Although they were still young in their WWE careers, both Superstars stood out during their matches together and promised big potential for a future clash.

The women's division was suffering in WWE at the time, and this greatly hurt Naomi's promising career. However, her early matches with AJ still stand out as some of her most underrated work in WWE.
2 Her Feud With The Bellas
After AJ Lee retired from wrestling, Paige and the Bella Twins were the only prominent Superstars in the women's division. The Anti-Diva challenged Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship unsuccessfully several times and Naomi fulfilled that role when she went on temporary hiatus.
Naomi wasn't given much to work with but she still managed to glow with what she was given during her feud with the Bellas. She and Tamina came across as menacing threats and almost managed to make the Bellas sympathetic until they failed to capture the butterfly belt.
1 Her Matches With Natalya
Naomi and Natalya are two Superstars who have been paired up with each other in feuds with little build-up or screen time. Despite this, they are talented workers who have managed to shine with what they were given and have had several matches that could be considered career highlights.
Natalya defeated Naomi for the SmackDown Women's Championship at SummerSlam 2017. Although their storyline was shown less care than their Raw counterparts, the two put on a solid match which resulted in Natalya's first title win since 2010.
