Diamond Dallas Page did his best to achieve as much as he could in wrestling despite starting his career later than most. The dabbling in the business would influence him to train and chase his dream in a big way. WCW pushed DDP with the fans connecting to him and wanting to see more of him during the Monday Night Wars.

The legacy of Page is remembered for WCW, but he also had runs in WWE, TNA, and even AEW. DDP will have the obvious moments like his matches with Randy Savage or most shocking Diamond Cutter finishers discussed about his legacy. However, there are other moments to get forgotten by most fans and should be viewed again for better or worse.
10 Chris Kanyon Betraying Him
Diamond Dallas Page’s feud with Jeff Jarrett in 2000 led to his wife and three of his closest friends all betraying him. Kimberly Page, Eric Bischoff, and David Arquette all played roles in DDP losing his WCW Championship matches.

Chris Kanyon was one of the few people still at his side. Kanyon also appeared to be injured after getting thrown off a cage. The reveal featured Kanyon faking his injuries and attacking Page to add another betrayal to the list for Page.
9 Winning WWE Contract Vs Big Boss Man
The Invasion storyline disaster led to most of the WCW and ECW wrestlers struggling to find roles after WWE ended the scripted war. Diamond Dallas Page was off-screen until given a chance in a singles match against The Big Boss Man.
The stipulation made it clear that Page was fired after WCW lost their place in WWE and needed this win to receive a new contract. DDP winning the match started a face run of him playing the overly positive character.
8 Tag Title Run With Kevin Nash
The end of WCW saw the main event names having to find new roles with younger stars like Booker T and Scott Steiner getting the world title pushes. Kevin Nash and Diamond Dallas Page formed a short-term tag team to feud with The Natural Born Thrillers.
The Insiders name was used as a play on The Outsiders since Scott Hall was no longer there to team with Nash. Both former world champs had chemistry and even won the WCW Tag Team Championship shortly before the company ended.
7 Leading Raven, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash In Faction
Diamond Dallas Page started off in WCW as a manager during the early ‘90s when the company was struggling to become a top promotion. The talent was there, but they couldn’t find the ideal roles for their wrestlers.
Kevin Nash worked under the name of Vinnie Vegas, Scott Hall was the Diamond Studd, and Raven was playing Johnny Flamingo. All three future top stars were part of the Diamond Mine faction led by DDP before WCW dropped the concept altogether.
6 Lord Of The Ring
WCW created a unique concept of BattleBowl to feature the prize of a ring on the line. Diamond Dallas Page scored one of his first huge wins at Slamboree 1996 to gain the moniker of “lord of the ring” as a heel.
Lethal lottery rules would have random tag partners having to team up against each other. All the winners moved on to the battle royal where DDP shocked the world. WCW used that to push him in a mid-card role until he started getting over for his talent and dropped the nickname.
5 Extra Role At WrestleMania 6
Most fans have no idea that Diamond Dallas Page’s WWE debut technically came all the way back in 1990. Page appeared at the WrestleMania 6 event in a role driving The Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine to the ring for their entrance.

WWE wanted to use DDP’s pink Cadillac and let him have the driver spot as part of the act for the night. Page was always halfway into wrestling during the early ‘90s, and it inspired him to make the move into training to become a wrestler.
4 Being Part Of Cody's Crew Fighting Inner Circle
The friendship between Dusty Rhodes and Diamond Dallas Page led to Cody Rhodes developing a bond with DDP as well. AEW has already featured Page appearing on a few occasions and likely had his final ever match in AEW since he’s unlikely to wrestle again.
One moment that deserved more attention featured DDP being part of Cody’s entourage during a fight with The Inner Circle. Cody’s friends and family were at his side to even the odds against Chris Jericho’s group. Page brawled with wrestlers half his age during the entertaining segment.
3 Curt Henning Turning On Him
Curt Hennig joining WCW in 1997 added another all-time great to the loaded roster. The initial appearances from Hennig saw him teaming up with Diamond Dallas Page against the New World Order.
Hennig turned on Page when the two couldn’t get on the same page to cause their feud. Wrestling fans of the '90s remember this playing out with Hennig and Ric Flair when he joined The Four Horsemen, but the earlier WCW angle showed the former Mr. Perfect was not trustworthy.
2 WrestleMania 32 Battle Royal Appearance
WWE wanted the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal to become an important WrestleMania tradition, but they never put effort into making it happen beyond the first year. Fans weren’t even sure who was in the battle royal by the third match at WrestleMania 32.
The entrances featured everyone walking to the ring together and fighting without much fanfare. Diamond Dallas Page had a surprise appearance, but it was barely noticeable since he didn’t have an entrance or get spotlighted away from the dozens of others in the match.
1 Becoming Hulk Hogan's Big Feud Of 1998
Hulk Hogan losing the WCW Championship to Goldberg saw him working a few attraction programs involving celebrities. WCW wasn’t intentional about it, but Diamond Dallas Page became Hogan’s main rival of 1998 after dropping the belt.
Page teamed with both Jay Leno and Karl Malone in respective tag matches against Hogan and his partners of Eric Bischoff and Dennis Rodman. The beatdowns on DDP from the New World Order sold the storyline that involved big names and PPV main events. Fans forget about Page being a rival of Hogan since they didn’t have a singles match on PPV.
