The Undertaker is one of the greatest to ever do it and anyone who disagrees with that theory is getting chokeslammed to hell.

However, all great things must come to an end, and it's clear to see that The Deadman is in the final stretch of his long and illustrious career. Nobody really knows what he's going to do next one way or the other, and with WrestleMania 36 being right around the corner, we want to float a few ideas around and see what could take place for 'Taker during Mania weekend - because let's face it, he's going to pop up in some way.
10 Hall of Fame Induction
The WWE Hall of Fame is an institution that has divided opinion amongst WWE fans throughout the years, and that’ll continue to be the case for many years to come.
Regardless of whether or not you believe it’s as prestigious as WWE would like you to believe, there’s no denying that it’s an important piece when it comes to the history of the company. As such, The Undertaker needs to be inducted, and we’d love to see him go in this year – if only because we, alongside many other fans, are a bit impatient.
9 Surprise Axxess Appearance
WrestleMania Axxess is a wonderful event that allows fans from around the world to not only meet their favorite superstars but also engage in a series of fun activities in the lead up to the showcase of the immortals.
This year, why not have a little bit of fun with it by throwing The Undertaker in there during one of the sessions? You could have the lights go out and Taker appear in the designated ring that they always have, leading to the whole place going crazy.
It’d require a lot of planning, but it would be worth it.
8 Hell In A Cell
The Hell in a Cell concept was born as a direct result of Taker’s character, and as such, we think it’s only right that he has one more Cell match before he decides to hang it up for good.
He’s one of the greatest to ever do it and HIAC played a big role in getting him to that point. We don’t know who the match would be against or even whether he’d be in the right kind of shape for it, but either way, this would be as daring as it would be entertaining.
7 Return Of American Badass
“You’ve done it now – you've gone and made a big mistake” or “Keep rollin’." Whichever theme song you liked more, there’s no way of getting around the one core fact that is this: The Undertaker, as the American Badass, was awesome.
It was a refreshing change of pace from the character he played for so many years, and it’s clearly something that Mark Calaway himself wanted to try out. Given that he’s in the final few years of his career, we want to see him pull it back out one last time.
6 Absolutely Nothing
It’s a boring entry for a dull idea, but come on now, don’t you think he’s done enough for us over the years?
Maybe, just maybe, for the first time in what feels like forever, The Undertaker doesn’t want to make any sort of appearance at WrestleMania. He may even choose to wait until Survivor Series 2020 to give a nod to the 30th anniversary of his debut.
Mania is going to be a spectacle regardless of whether Taker is there or not, as was proved last year.
5 Live Podcast Show
We saw him do a podcast with Stone Cold Steve Austin that was seen as a resounding success, but let’s face it, they only scratched the surface regarding the legendary career of The Undertaker.

Why not have Taker do a live podcast show at some point during WrestleMania week? Given that they were going to do it a few years back over in the United Kingdom, we think doing a show with Inside The Ropes would be the best way to go.
We guarantee they could sell out an entire arena with this thing.
4 Showdown With The Fiend
Everyone loves a good ‘passing of the torch’ moment, and while it was meant to happen back at WrestleMania 31, they could really drive it home five years later at WrestleMania 36 with The Undertaker vs The Fiend.
It could be the big send-off that Taker has been waiting for against a worthy opponent. Given the additional intrigue of The Fiend, too, this could be the kind of revolutionary match that they’re talking about for years – long after both men have retired. That’s how you make an impact.
3 Post-Mania Appearance
On the RAW after WrestleMania last year, The Undertaker made what many considered to be a fairly cheap, one-off appearance when he went after Elias. Twelve months on, we wouldn’t be shocked if they did the same thing.
It might not be what people want to see from The Phenom but at the very least, they’ll get the chance to see him in the flesh and experience that iconic Undertaker entrance.
WrestleMania is about the week-long series of events as well as just the show itself, and Taker knows that.
2 Squash Match
Nearly two years ago, we saw The Undertaker squash John Cena in New Orleans at WrestleMania 34. It may not have been everyone’s cup of tea, but it was certainly a match that delivered in the eyes of many.

Maybe, with the knowledge that he probably can’t go too hard in a long match, WWE will put Undertaker up against someone in another quick squash. He’ll get the chance to improve his phenomenal record at the show of shows, and most of the fans will tick ‘seeing Taker at Mania’ off of their bucket list.
1 Retirement Speech
Nobody wants to accept it but we all know The Undertaker is going to retire soon, and it’d be wrong if he didn’t do it in an official capacity to give one final nod to his legions of fans.
Whether he does it in character or out of character, Taker should be given the time and space to really let his feelings be heard in front of the WWE Universe. When you consider his unbelievable longevity, there’s a chance this could be one of the most emotional retirement speeches in the history of pro wrestling.
