10 Current AEW Wrestlers Kenny Omega Hasn't Defeated Yet

A top star of All Elite Wrestling and its current World Champion, Kenny Omega is considered by many -- fans, experts, and fellow performers alike -- to be the best wrestler in the world. During AEW’s existence so far, Omega has defeated a who’s who of the company’s best talent, including Christian Cage, Hangman Page, Rey Fenix, PAC, Orange Cassidy, Jungle Boy, and former champion Jon Moxley, who Omega dethroned to win the belt in the first place.

With so many wins under his belt, it begs the question -- who on the roster hasn’t The Cleaner put away in singles competition while in AEW? Let’s take a look.
10 Bryan Danielson
A recent and much-hyped addition to AEW, multi-time WWE Champion Daniel Bryan -- now back to his real name of Bryan Danielson -- showed up in the last moments of 2021’s All Out pay-per-view and got into a title feud with Omega. Their big singles match happened on the 9/22/2021 episode of AEW Dynamite, and ended in a 30-minute time limit draw, forcing Danielson to work his way to the top of the rankings if he wanted another shot at the champion, which “The American Dragon” certainly will.
9 Eddie Kingston
A pandemic-era debut who got signed after his performance in one of Cody Rhodes’ TNT Title open challenges, Eddie Kingston got involved in Jon Moxley’s feud with Omega, rescuing his friend-turned-rival Mox from a would-be exploding ring. Since then, Kingston has spent much of his time tagging with his bud, but has made time for singles feuds like his unsuccessful TNT Title shot against Miro. One day he’ll have to go up against Omega in singles competition, because the King’s Road vs. Strong Style trappings of their potential matchup are too tempting to pass up.
8 Darby Allin
Much has been made of the four top up-and-comers of AEW being referred to as Pillars of the company, so it only feels appropriate that each of them will go up against a veteran like Omega at some point. Jungle Boy has already done it, and Darby Allin is more than ready for such an undertaking.

Allin’s unique look and particularly reckless high-risk style has made him one of the most popular “homegrown” acts in the company, especially after putting on loads of awesome matches. It’s a no-brainer for him to clash with Kenny and probably lose on his rise to greatness.
7 Cody Rhodes
While the two have clashed during their time together in the Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling, it’s not very likely that Cody Rhodes will go up against Kenny Omega in AEW -- at least not while the latter is World Champion. Rhodes lost his ability to ever challenge for that belt after losing a match to Chris Jericho, but there’s always a possibility they will go up against one another sometime after Omega’s title reign is over.
6 Brian Cage
Nicknamed “The Machine,” Brian Cage got an AEW World Title shot as soon as he debuted thanks to his winning the 2020 Casino Ladder Match at Double Or Nothing. But that was against Jon Moxley, and since then he’s been a part of midcard feuds both as part of Team Taz and now as an enemy of said faction. But once he’s done with them, there’s no reason Cage can’t go up against The Cleaner for the World Title at some point, at which point Kenny Omega would likely put away another foe.
5 Fuego Del Sol
Building a groundswell of support thanks to appearances on the YouTube shows and Sammy Guevara’s vlog, the undersized luchador Fuego Del Sol is the perfect underdog to rally around, as fans seem to love cheering him on through increasingly high profile losses. He’s already gotten victimized by Miro (twice), so he should keep rising the ranks until he loses to the top stars of AEW, with Kenny Omega being the obvious final boss for Fuego to lose to.
4 Miro
The aforementioned Miro was a bit of a disappointment for fans when he first arrived in AEW, as he took part in goofy (but admittedly fun) midcard stuff rather than wrecking everybody in sight like his old Rusev persona. A change in attitude scored him an impressive reign with the TNT Title, but now that that’s not around his waist, he’s ready to move up the card.

Miro’s a great heel, so it feels like it’ll be a while before he takes on Kenny Omega, unless AEW wants to experiment with changing either guy’s alignment, which seems extremely unlikely.
3 MJF
Maxwell Jacob Friedman is such a consummate heel that any face turn would feel like a Ric Flair-esque countdown to an inevitable betrayal, so like Miro it will likely be some time before MJF goes up against Kenny Omega. It’s easy to imagine what that feud would be like if Omega ever turns face again -- MJF would run down Kenneth for being into video games, probably try to implement a legally binding stipulation that Omega isn’t allowed to use his knees for any purpose, and then shamelessly cheat once the bell rings.
2 CM Punk
Another hypeworthy AEW debut, CM Punk returned to pro wrestling after seven years away from in-ring competition. He’s only had a couple of matches so far with a stated purpose of taking on the younger talent in the promotion -- Darby Allin, Powerhouse Hobbs, Daniel Garcia -- but having him wrestle Kenny Omega in every die-hard fan’s dream match seems 100% on the table at some point. Whether Omega can beat a guy whose canonical nickname is “Best in the World” remains to be seen, however.
1 Chris Jericho
If there’s one rubber match that needs to happen sooner than later, it’s Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Omega. The two have only had two singles matches against one another, the most recent being Jericho beating Omega at AEW’s very first show, Double Or Nothing. It’s easy to imagine that such a major loss would be a sticking point for Omega -- either heel or face version -- so he’d want to prove himself against his countryman/rival for one last match together.
