The first night was opened with a fun Women’s Tag Team Championship match. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross saw their odd couple tag team peak with a huge win over the talented duo of Asuka and Kairi Sane. All four women were on the same page for a solid match getting a 6.05 Cagematch rating.

Many fans felt underwhelmed for a match between two of the most talented all-around female performers in WWE. The match was technically sound enough to receive a 6.27 rating on CageMatch as a top ten women’s match on WrestleMania.

Unfortunately, the match didn’t live up to the hype and was viewed as average rather than a must-watch special attraction. Cagematch voters rated the match a 6.30 to show that it was a top ten women’s match on WrestleMania but not worthy of the top five.

Many fans view WrestleMania 19 as the greatest event in the show’s rich history. This event had a rare credible match for the women’s division involving Trish Stratus, Jazz and Victoria. All three ladies did a great job working towards this match by helping build the women’s division from scratch.

Stratus won the match and the Women’s Championship to end the Victoria's title reign. The match only received a little over seven minutes, but they made the most of their time. Cagematch rated the match a 6.50 for the second-strongest women’s match before the evolution timeline.

Another important night for Trish Stratus on the biggest stage came at WrestleMania 22 against Mickie James. WWE called up James from developmental and placed her in a storyline with Stratus that lasted many months.

The friendship turned stalking turned rivalry led to a big match for the women’s division. Mickie pulled off the huge victory to become the Women’s Championship in a match that received a 6.63 rating on Cagematch. This was the first time WWE spent months building a singles match for the women’s division and holds significance looking back.

Charlotte scored the victory over Rhea in the opening match of night two of WrestleMania 36 and received an 8.03 rating on Cagematch. The match was among the better in-ring outings during the weekend to represent the women’s division well.

Everyone expected Asuka to continue the undefeated streak, but Charlotte shocked the world by scoring the win. Both ladies contributed to having a great match that received an 8.12 rating on Cagematch. The entire night peaked with Charlotte and Asuka having the audience more invested than in the later main events.
