LJN was simply the manufacturer. This is important because, in 1989, the final WWE Wrestling Superstars series came out. Those figures, however, weren't manufactured by LJN. The final Black Card series of Wrestling Superstars was produced by Grand Toys and featured the first WWE Ultimate Warrior figure. Truthfully, it's a brick but it's covered by many collectors. Mattel's Elite WWE line has been the standard for pro wrestling action figures since the first Elite figures were released in 2010. In 2019 though, Mattel took upped their game when they introduced their Ultimate Edition WWE line. These figures featured significantly more articulation than the Elite figures and were usually loaded with accessories.

The first series of Mattel's WWE Ultimate Edition line featured Ronda Rousey and a WCW-era Ultimate Warrior. While the Rousey figure was solid, the Warrior figure was excellent. It didn't come with as many accessories as future Ultimate Edition figures would but it didn't need them. This Halloween Havoc 1998-inspired Warrior was a home run.
