Throughout their careers, the Dudley Boyz have dominated tag team wrestling. Their names are synonymous with TNA, ECW and WWE, as well as hardcore matches in general. The Dudleys were two of the meanest wrestlers in any fight, taking on anyone in any match. Alongside teams like Edge & Christian and The Hardy Boyz, they presided over possibly the greatest era of tag team wrestling in the history of WWF/WWE.

But amongst the hundreds, if not thousands, of matches they had, there are a few that really stand out.

10 Turning Point 2005

Team 3D

After parting ways with WWE, the Dudleys made their way to TNA and joined several other former WWE talents. Their first major feud was against Chris Harris and James Storm, aka America's Most Wanted. AMW was possibly one of the most underrated tag teams in pro wrestling, as was their feud with Team 3D. At the Turning Point pay-per-view in 2005, the two teams faced of in a hellacious tables match that saw Team 3D pick up the victory.

9 Final ECW Tag Team Championship Defence

With their departure to WWF looming, the Dudleys won their eighth ECW World Tag Team Championship from Spike Dudley and Ball Mahoney. Given how much the fans hated them for leaving, this made the Dudleys the overwhelming heels, particularly once they started threatening to take the belts with them.

It took heels with that much heat to bring together Tommy Dreamer and Raven to defeat them, putting aside one of ECW's biggest, and most defining, rivalries to make sure the ECW belts stayed where they belonged.

8 The Brothers Of Destruction

At the height of the WCW/ECW Invasion storyline, the Dudley Boyz sought to bring the Tag Team Championships to the Alliance. Unfortunately, the tag team that held them were The Brothers of Destruction. It was a hard-hitting match with Undertaker and Kane firmly in the driver's seat. Until other members of the Alliance got involved. Then, Kane got put through a table and Undertaker got a 3-D. The Dudleys took the pinfall, and won the championships.

7 The Dudleys Last ECW Match

Dudleys, ECW, and tables

Keeping in mind that Bubba Ray and D-Von still had a couple of matches after this one, their bout with Spike Dudley and Balls Mahoney was their last official ECW match before heading to WWF. It was a brutal affair in the way that only ECW knew how.

ECW crowds were well known for being especially vocal but they were doubly so for this match. Everyone knew the Dudleys were on their way out so the fans let the boys know how they felt about it in no uncertain terms.

6 Survivor Series 2001

During the course of the Invasion storyline, both the WCW and WWF tag team championships were in play at one point. The Dudley Boyz held the WCW Tag Team Championships and the Hardy Boyz held the WWE Tag Team Championships. At Survivor Series 2001, a cage match was held to unify the titles into one championship. The Dudleys won when Jeff missed a Swanton Bomb off the top of the cage, his intention was to hit D-Von who was set up on some tables. D-Von moved and Jeff went through the table solo, setting Bubba Ray up for the pinfall victory.

5 SmackDown!: TLC III

How do you take a series of TLC matches between three of the greatest tag teams of all time up a notch? By adding in Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit. In May 2001, Jericho and Benoit were the tag team champions.

They defended their belts against the Dudleys, the Hardys and Edge & Christian in the third of a series of Tables, Ladders & Chairs matches. While this one wasn't as grand as the previous two, it was still an outstanding bout.

4 Wrestle Kingdom III

Not only have the Dudleys held the ECW, WCW, and WWF/WWE Tag Team Championships, they have also held the IWGP Tag Team Championships. Their first reign began at Wrestle Kingdom III in January 2009. The match was originally scheduled to be a three way bout but was changed due to injury. In the end, Team 3D defeated The Most Violent Players in an impressive hardcore match to become the IWGP Tag Team Champions for the first time.

3 WrestleMania X-7: TLC II

At WrestleMania in 2001, the Dudley Boyz, the Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian threw down one more time in a match called TLC II. Once again, they broke out the tables, ladders and chairs, then beat the holy hell out of each other.

It featured some of the biggest spots in WWF/WWE history, including Jeff Hardy taking a spear from Edge while hanging off the title chain. Bubba Ray and Matt fell off a ladder inside the ring and landed on a pile of tables outside the ring. Unfortunately for the Dudleys, they walked in with the belts and Edge & Christian left with them.

2 WrestleMania 2000

There is a strong argument to be made that this match may have been the greatest tag team match of all time. WrestleMania 2000, aka WrestleMania 16, was headlined by a four way elimination match for the WWF Championship featuring The Rock, The Big Show, Mick Foley and Triple H. But it was overshadowed by a Triangle Ladder Match for the Tag Team Championships. The Dudley Boyz, Edge & Christian and the Hardy Boyz engaged in one of the most brilliant ladder matches in the history of the business.

1 SummerSlam 2000: TLC

The three way rivalry between Edge & Christian, the Hardy Boyz and the Dudley Boyz defined the early 2000s in WWF. The teams had some of the greatest matches of their respective careers against each other, as well as some of the most violent. At SummerSlam 2000, the three teams had their first epic Tables, Ladders and Chairs match that, without question, stole the show. It was filled with spots that were both incredible and brutal. In the end, Edge & Christian retained the belts.
